Private Residential Real Estate Transactions All documents or communications that describe, discuss, refer to, report on or relate to the purchase, sale, lease or rental of residential real estate property on behalf of one or more occupants or intended occupants. Guidelines -- documents and communications relating to actual residential real estate transactions are responsive. -- documents and communications conveying an intent to enter into such residential real estate transactions are responsive. -- solicitations by potential vendors, purchasers, lessors or residential real estate agents are responsive. -- documents pertaining solely to the sale, purchase, lease or rental of commercial or industrial property, not for residential purposes, are not responsive. -- documents pertaining solely to the sale, purchase, lease or rental of "income property" are not responsive, unless the residential real estate property is occupied by or intended to be occupied by the vendor, purchaser, lessee or a related party. -- communications that mention a specific or potential residential real estate transaction are responsive. Examples include, but are not limited to, "John sold his house," "I'm looking for a condo," "Are you aware of any cheap sublets?" -- documents pertaining solely to hotel or travel accommodation are not responsive.
